After qualifying as a dentist in 1984, Graham worked in general dentistry for five years while continuing postgraduate studies. He then completed three years of full-time training as a Specialist Registrar in Orthodontics, after which he attained his Master of Dentistry in Orthodontics. Since then, Graham has been involved exclusively in specialist orthodontic practice both in South Africa and in the UK and continues practice in Winchester and Berkhamsted.
As the first President of the European Aligner Society, Graham is a leader in the field of Invisalign and has been using this product since 2001. He has treated over 1,000 patients with this technology, and his considerable experience has been recognised by Align Technology who have awarded him with the prestigious Diamond Invisalign Provider status.
Graham is a clinical speaker for Align Technology where he runs Invisalign accreditation and advanced courses for dentists, orthodontists, and consultants in the UK and Ireland. He also hosts Invisalign Study Groups for fellow Invisalign providers and provides one-on-one mentoring for specialist orthodontists who provide Invisalign treatment in Ireland. He represents the UK on the European Clinical Advisory Board for Align Technology through which he joins colleagues at the forefront of developing this cutting-edge technique.
Graham is registered as a Specialist Orthodontist with the British General Dental Council (GDC) and is a member of the Specialist Practitioner Group of the British Orthodontic Society and a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists. Passionate about orthodontics, Graham is a firm believer in harnessing the latest technologies to create individual treatment plans for each patient to improve their smiles in terms of aesthetics, best function and dental health.
Outside of work, Graham is a keen golfer and loves skiing, travelling and spending time with his three daughters.
